Compare 2026 1oz Bullion Prices
Live prices on 2026-dated 1oz bullion from trusted UK dealers — every major coin in current-year condition. This filter combines the benchmark 1oz weight with the latest year of issue, useful for investors targeting fresh-from-mint stock.
What this filter returns
2026 1oz bullion spans all the major coin programmes in current production: gold and silver Britannias, Krugerrands, Eagles, Maple Leaves, Kangaroos, Philharmonics, and the various 1oz minted bars from major refiners. All are current-year issue — produced in 2026 rather than drawn from accumulated secondary inventory.
Why current-year matters less for bullion than for collectors
For pure bullion investors, year of issue typically doesn't affect investment characteristics: metal content, fineness and tax treatment are identical across years for any given coin programme. Most UK dealers price current-year and back-year stock in similar bands. Where current-year does matter is in availability (deeper stock during active production), condition (untouched coins fresh from mint), and dealer presentation (current-year coins typically come in original packaging).
Tax across the 1oz 2026 set
1oz gold across all designs is VAT-exempt as investment gold. CGT exemption applies only to UK legal-tender coins — principally 1oz gold Britannias for 2026 issues. 1oz silver carries 20% VAT regardless of design or origin; CGT exemption applies to 1oz silver Britannias only. Bars in any metal are not CGT-exempt regardless of year.
